With the last race in the current Rah League being at Silverstone on Monday 30th September RAH RACING would like to thank everyone who's taken part. Two new Rah leagues are in the pipeline, kicking off at the end of October, one on Mondays and the other on Fridays. More details to follow soon.

David Noonan's new track converter is now avalible from http://www.sim-garage.co.uk. The program will convert 31 tracks from Papyrus's GPL. ICR2/CART, Nascar 2, Nascar 3, and Nascar Legends to both Nascar 4 & Nascar 2002 format, reccomended.

The Rah Racing Nascar 2002 League kicked off this week, race winner Jake-UK-RAH, Jake also won the 600 mile no yellow flag monster that was the 'Silver 600' leading for 349 of the 400 laps of Lowes Night. HarrLogy took 2nd place, abomb59 3rd & Traveler! took 4th.

The Silver 600. Stateside driver Steve Silver was involved in a horrible Motorcycle crash back in February. He has now been allowed back home from hospital and is trying to get his life back together. The Silver 600 is a benefit race to try to help with the overwhelming cost of Steve's medical care.
Tracks for Saturday's Sim Racers UK v CR USA will be Dover, New Hampshire, and Phoenix.

More bad news, Dazman (Darren Willard) was involved in a motorcycle accident last Sunday and is in a critical condition. Darren has spinal injurys and can't feel anything below his chest & both his lungs have collapsed, doctors have put Darren on support machines and drugged him heavily to the point that he is unconscious most of the time. Rah Racing would like to send it's very best wishes to Darren & to Steve Silver who has now regained consciousness enough to speak and joke around but still has a very long way to go after his bad motorcycle accident two weeks ago.

We are calling this race the 'Silver 47' for our m8 Steve Silver who is still very ill in hospital after a bad motorcycle smash. The Rock is Steve's home track. Monday February 25, 2002 J.U.S.T team driver and Rah Racing regular Steve Silver (a.k.a. Silver 47) was involved in a bad smash on Saturday 23rd Feb. Steve was riding his motorcycle when a car in the oncoming lane lost control and struck him. Steve was airlifted to Winston-Salem Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He has undergone seven hours of surgery for a badly broken pelvis, severely broken leg (broken in 10 places) and massive blood loss. Steve has another operation today at 6pm GMT. Get well soon M8.

The Long Riders charity race. The #37 car, Rah team driver Jake-UK-RAH takes 3rd place in his first 100% distance race at Michigan. This 400 mile stateside event was held by CR to raise money for the victims of the World Trade Center tragedy.

CRM: Is there anyone in racing that you admire? BJ34: Well I think that I have always liked what Dale Earnhardt has done for Stock Car Racing. The whole image and now that he has passed, you hear all these stories on how he tried to help others out. Dave Marcis should be everyone's hero I think, because he has never had anything given to him and he works his tail off to race. Jeff Gordon, whether you like him or not, really is the real deal. Guy finds a way to win every week... I don't own any Jeff Gordon memorabilia mind you... On our own team, I think all of the guys are great. UK Jake is one guy who I am amazed at. The guy races with the Brits all day, stays up, and races with us at night... I guess its like 5am for him. Unbelievable! He is such a race nut too. I asked him one time if he liked any other sports besides racing. He told me no... just racing.. says he would watch 2 socks race if it were possible. If Jake had T-shirts for sale, I would buy one.

Welcome to the new Rah Racing website.

Some of the site is still under construction but we should be up and running properly within the next week or so.

In the top left corner of the site you can see we are showing both local time and UTC, it would be great if people would refer to race start times in UTC as we are a global bunch and go by different time zones.

On the bottom left of the page you will see an option to talk with the Rah Racing Team Drivers, this will download a small once only file onto your computer which will enable you to chat live to any of our drivers currently online, pretty neat huh ! note; to use speech you will need a full duplex audio card & a mic.
